The 4th Cavalry Regiment is one of the most famous and most decorated units in the United States Army.  Since 1855, the 4th Cavalry has continuously served our Nation in peace and war.

Our purpose is to honor the veterans of A Troop 3rd Squadron 4th Cavalry, 25th Infantry Division and to maintain the principles of liberty which our unit has always been "Prepared and Loyal" to preserve.

Our focus has been the years the troop served in Vietnam (1966 - 1970), however, all former, past, & current Alpha Troop members are welcome to the website.

Our website been online since 2003. The web site was started when Mel Moss, Troop Commander, Sep. 68 to Feb. 69. contacted John Moore, 1st platoon leader & Troop X0, Aug. 68 to Aug. 69. They started talking about their experiences and wondering about what became of former members. John is serving as the webmaster of this site. Mel is coordinating the collection of material, photos, and recollections.  Mel and John appreciate all of the photos, stories, and ideas you have shared in making our website one of the best on the web.
